Family Home Cardiff - Complete Refurbishment

After 18 years of living in their Llandaff home our client decided to refurbish their ground floor sitting room, middle room, and hallway.

The main features of this project were a new hardwood floor and a handmade floor to ceiling bookcase with double glazed doors to divide the front and middle rooms.

Specifically, we did the following:

  • Stripped out the old floors
  • Put in new wiring for new power points
  • Put in new pipework for new radiators
  • Put in insulation between joists
  • Laid a new weyrock floor achieving a flat surface area
  • Built a new room dividing bookcase with double glazed doors
  • Built a hall shoe and coat stand
  • Fitted new power points and radiators
  • Laid new hardwood floor throughout two rooms and hallway
  • Painted and decorated

The finished result was a refreshed living space designed so meet the needs of how the family wanted to use it.
