Palace Road Cardiff - Flat Refurbishment
We were engaged to completely refurbish a large 2-bedroom flat in Llandaff.
What we did started with stripping the property bare by removing everything in it e.g. kitchen, bathroom, carpets, old flooring, plumbing and electrics etc.
We did the following:
- Underfloor fire and sound insulation
- New flooring throughout
- Complete electrical rewire
- New plumbing throughout
- Refurbishment of original features e.g., Victorian doors
- New windows
- New doors including a fire door
- General repairs
- Plastered throughout
- New kitchen
- New bathroom
- Loft boarding and new loft hatch and ladders
- Decoration throughout
We added in practical features including Cat 5 cabling and ethernet ports throughout, power-points with USB ports in key locations e.g., at bedsides and in the kitchen.
The flat was finished to a high standard and now attracts a premium rent.
